Catherine MICHEL. French, english, german.
At the age of 15, she received the first price in the class of Pierre Jamet in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. International soloist - Ex soloist of the National Orchestra of Radio France and of the Paris Opera National Orchestra. Professor emeritus from the Hochschule of Zürich and from the Royal College of London.Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros, Grand Prix de la SACEM, Prix des Victoires de la Musique. Catherine Michel recorded for EMI, Philips, Sony classic numerous works for solo harp or with orchestra (Mozart Concerto with Benoît Fromanger for whom it obtained a Golden record, Reineke, Glière, Rodrigo, Villa-Lobos, Castelnuovo-Tedesco..). She also collaborated with the composer Michel Legrand in order to developing the harp repertoire. She published a catalog of the preromantic pieces for harp and illustrated her researches with 2 CD on the music of this period. Passionate by the teaching, she is frequently invited all over the world for Mastersclasses and training courses. Her vast knowledge of the repertoire including all the styles, allows her an pedagogical approach very open and varied. A human and generous artist who likes transmitting her knowledge and her big experience to the young harpists.

Isabelle MARIE . French, english, german.

She received first prizes for harp in 1981 in the class of Jacqueline Borot and for chamber music in 1982 in the class of Maurice Bourgue in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris . She then realised a career as concert artist and teacher in France and Switzerland. She was the first harp during 8 years at the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and played with the Tonhalle Orchestra from Zürich in Switzerland, she joined the harp quartet “Harpège” also Michel Corboz’s Ensemble and “Contrechamps” in Genève. She met Catherine Michel, followed her teaching and get the state pedagogy diploma (DE) in Paris in 2003 . She now teaches at the Conservatoire Municipal Paris 5ème and Paris 16ème and writes some harps quartett arrangements who are edited ( Durand, Leduc, Harposphère) and a Method for harp published in 2011. She also performs with numerous ensembles and orchestras and recorded three CDs with Laurent Hacquard (oboe), Jocelyne Lucas (sopranist) and Quatuor “Harpège”. She was president of the Focus on Youth Concerts of the World Harp Congress 2002 and perform in the WHC Genève, Dublin and Vancouver where she played “Sonate pour violon et harpe” from Jean Michel Damase with Jeannette Bernal.
